How it works

The weekly average is the sum of eight completed weeks divided by eight, including weeks with zero running. Planned-week change compares the planned total with that average. Long-run share is planned long-run distance ÷ planned weekly distance. A zero denominator is shown without a percentage.

Enter zero only for a known week without running; a missing record needs checking. This is a volume review, not a readiness score, injury-risk prediction or automatic training plan.

Worked example

Weeks of 30, 34, 0, 36, 38, 40, 42 and 44 km total 264 km, averaging 33 km. A planned 40 km week is 21.2% above that average. A 20 km long run would be 50% of that planned week. These numbers describe a plan; they do not endorse it.
